Barbara Velasco is an exceptionally talented graphic designer, committed to using her passion for creativity.

Barbara started papèl papèl + creative collective in 2001. The inception of her own design studio, allowed her to create an avenue to something more diverse that continually inspires her.

Barbara believes in creating solutions that leave a lasting impression. She is committed to providing outstanding service, quality design and is dedicated in continuing to nurture her relationship with clients, changing their position on the blank canvas in line with their changing needs.

With more than eight years experience working as a graphic designer, Barbara has worked for one of Australia's leading wine industry publisher (Winetitles) and a leading integrated marketing company (Fuller). Her role as a senior graphic designer for both companies gave her an opportunity to develop solid grounds in business and as a creative designer.

Barbara believes that effective visual communication is integral to the ultimate success of any business, big or small.

Barbara's other interests include a passion for photography, being spotted regularly grooving around Adelaide's funkiest bars and is known to be quite the singer on occassion. She also has an unnatural obsession with shoes that has led to her "Imelda" nickname amongst clients and friends.
